Training Packages
We have a range of experienced professionals who offer training packages to nurseries, schools and colleges.
The main aims of these are to help staff groups:
To better understand how to meet the requirements of statutory provision within the classroom
To know how to access additional support through statutory processes
To know how to better understand the children they are working with
To be given additional strategies and techniques for supporting unique children with particular needs
Equally important, these training packages also provide staff with the opportunity to talk about the difficulties and challenges of working with children with particular needs and to gain support not only from the trainers, but from each other too.
All training packages will be designed with your setting in mind and will take into account the unique needs of the children your staff are working with.
Our training packages fall into the following categories:

When it's hard to sit still and think straight: An introduction to ADHD, ASD and Sensory Processing in children (whole school).

What is sensory processing, and how or why do children’s sensory needs differ? (whole school or smaller staff group).
2 or 3 hours
Understanding how a child’s coordination impacts on their successes in the classroom and in daily life: How can you help? (whole school or smaller staff group).

Raising sensory awareness for the classroom (whole school or smaller staff group).

Emotional, social and psychological difficulties
Understanding Attachment difficulties (whole school).

Working with Attachment: Putting theory into practice (for staff working directly with children with Attachment difficulties).

Adverse Childhood Experiences: becoming a trauma informed school (whole school).

Children – The importance of emotional and social wellbeing (whole school).

Supporting children’s emotional regulation - Emotion Coaching (whole school).
