About us
The Now, Next & Then team is a dedicated collective of professionals with an exceptional reputation. While we’re super proud of the long-standing recognition we’ve earned, our passion for what we do is what truly drives us. We are all genuinely committed to making a difference to the daily lives of the children and young people we support and we unflatteringly strive to do our best.
Our company was founded by Emma in 2021. As a Children’s Occupational Therapist with extensive experience in the NHS and independent practice since 2010, Emma saw a huge opportunity to be able to do more to help more children. Through her work, she identified a significant gap between children’s needs, the services available, and the quality of those services. Too often, children who needed help were falling through the gaps, or having to figuratively skip through multiple hoops to get the help they needed. Children and families were having to navigate a rollercoaster of fabulous support from some professionals and really poor support from others, while others struggled to find any help at all.
Emma believes that when a child needs help, they deserve the best available, and they need it now.
This realisation led to our company’s mission: to provide consistent, timely, and high-quality help to any child or young person facing additional challenges in mainstream nurseries, schools and colleges. This mission expanded to address the gap in services for young people after they leave school, which is why Now, Next & Then extends support for young people to the age of twenty-five.
Our goal is to offer a comprehensive range of services, all working to the highest standard towards a common and often collaborative goal. In essence, Now, Next & Then is a ‘one-stop-shop’ for help.
Emma quickly created a team of multidisciplinary colleagues who share the same passion and drive. The team has grown and the result is a group of highly experienced professionals who remain humble and eager to learn every day from the children and young people they support.
We are a group of fun-loving, genuinely committed, and caring professionals who bring the highest level of integrity and expertise to our work. With hearts on our sleeves, we are here for both your child and you.
We promise to give our very best to those who need our help.
We have a wealth of professional experience, which means we have a broad network of multidisciplinary colleagues with whom we regularly collaborate and mutually respect. We can provide signposting, advice, and support for local processes in health and education, ensuring the best outcomes for your child. This is in addition to the ‘in-house’ support we offer for Children’s Occupational Therapy, Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy, Autism Advocacy & Support and Parent & Family Support.
We understand that when a parent, school, or other service invests in what we do, they need assurance that they’re receiving the very best in return. With Now, Next & Then, you can be confident that this is exactly what you’ll get.
We firmly believe that you are the expert on your child. Our role is to empower you with new insights, ensure your child and you feel heard, and show you both the respect you deserve.
